Keeping Up With Technology

With technology advancing at such a rapid pace, it can be hard for anyone to keep up with all of the new phones, tablets, laptops, software, and many other innovations. That being said, there are some great new products on the market, and it can be very worthwhile to try and learn how to use these products and incorporate them into your life. An example of this is the use of iPads as note-taking devices. While I myself don’t have an iPad, many of my classmates use them as better alternatives to a notebook. A few years ago, the idea of using a pencil to take notes on a tablet screen would have sounded far-fetched. In today’s world, it will be hard to find a class that doesn’t have at least one student without one. This is just one example of how keeping up with new technological advances can be greatly beneficial.

It can be overwhelming to keep up with all of the new technology, and if you don’t have the same baseline knowledge as everyone else, it can be even harder to pick up how to use some of the techs. Oftentimes social media sites are targeted toward younger people; however, seniors can also benefit from the positive aspects of social media.
